These pieces are a further development of my icons made out of solid wood and they faithfully preserve the content of that earlier work. They play on the themes of two- and three dimensions, make references to space and time and, thus, to places in between ...
The dissolution and reassembly of the structure reflects the informal and partially space-invasive application of the grown material. At the same time, further careful treatment with various media is apparent.
The collages combine conflicting impressions and allow different interpretations.
